Hi, My name is Victor. Formerly an East Coast denizen (a new Englander), I moved out west towards the end of the summer of 2008 in my quest to make my life as interesting/awesome as possible should there ever be a Wikipedia page about me. I’m a full-time student, part-time state employed computer wizard, half-time musician, time and a half writer, and a 5/4 time audio technician.
As of now, I have three plans for life.
1. Get my own radio show where people can call in with their computer problems and I can help them.
2. Move to a small college town, open an internet cafe/coffee shop/private library, and possibly teach a computer class at a local high school.
3. Be awesome.
Pretty attainable goals, I think. None of them mutually exclusive, particularly the last one.
For now, I spend my days learning and working at California State University Northridge, located in lovely Northridge, California. When I’m not studying to earn my Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism, I’m working in the Information Systems Department in CSUN’s College of Engineering and Computer Science.
However, since my passions and skills extend beyond that of computers and writing, I lend my skills out through the freelance market. I’m currently the audio engineer for two podcasts; Current Issues in Credit Unions and Friday Night Party Line.
